Wordless Wednesday

Update: This was posted on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. I do not know why Blogger messes up the dates so often!

OK, almost wordless. These are cranes flying into Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge last Sunday. Bitter Lake is just outside of Roswell so we can watch the cranes flying over our house on their way in. There are thousands of them in the air, usually between 4 and 5 in the afternoon.

Oh, those are such beautiful photos! We don't have Cranes here - but usually in the Fall we have some Egrets come through. This year, we've had..... no egrets. Hee hee hee! Sorry - it's true, too. :)
Love,
Ammy
