Tuxie Tuesday

Our beautiful Raisin a'Ruckus does not live with us any more. We miss her but she had to go live with someone else.

Ruckus moved in with us when she was very young ~ just 4 weeks old. She came through our back fence and followed my Daddy up to the house even though she could not walk more than a couple of steps without wobbling. Mom and my Daddy could not find her kitty mom and they were not willing to leave Ruckus outside on her own with all the skunks who lived in the area. So ~ we had a new baby.

Two years later Ruckus has found a new home. I do not want to go into details of why and how it happened but it was definitely something she chose. She left us in a PTU so we know she was safe but we do not know exactly where she ended up living. We were told that as soon as she was released she climbed onto the shoulder of the man who had her and started purring, which she never did even once for Mom or my Daddy in the 2 years she lived with us. Mom thinks that we were just a way station for Ruckus and that she was using us until she knew there was someone else who would provide her real forever home.

Goodbye Raisin a'Ruckus. We hope you are very happy for a very long time.

I discovered HAM!

New Very Important Information: The Cat Blogosphere is reporting that Miss Peach is out of her surgery and resting until she can go home. We are really happy to hear that! Hi hi hi hi hi! It is my turn to post again ('cuz Tiger Lily is a good sister).

So I decided to show you how I made sure I moved to Roswell when the rest of my family did. There was NO WAY they could leave me behind 'cuz I was packed up with some of the other very important stuff. I came down with Mom and Zeke and was here a whole week before Tiger Lily and Sushi were. So you know I was very important.

And now I know what Miles Meezer is talking about every time he talks about HAM. Mom made a HAM sammich for lunch yesterday and gave me some. At first I had to think about it but I sure am glad I decided to try it! Wow! Wow! WOW! I would have eaten a whole slice if Mom had let me! Zeke and Sushi ate their pieces too but Tiger Lily would not even try it. She has NO IDEA what she missed! We can have HAM any time and I will be happy.
