Wordy Wednesday

WARNING: If any of you kittehs are easily scared now might be a good time to turn away from what you are about to see.

My Daddy goes hunting for feral pigs in the Lincoln National Forest a lot. Mostly he just shoots stumps for target practice and he always takes his clicky flashy box along with his bow and arrows. This past summer he deserted us went hunting and left us all alone at home while Mom was gone in New Yuck. (Mom says I have to tell you that it was only two days and we had someone to take care of us while they were both gone. It is not the same.)

Anyway my Daddy saw this fawn (what a baby deer is called). Because I do not know her real name I will call her Fala.

My Daddy almost stepped on Fala because she was lying so still and being very quiet. He told me that Fala did not move at all while he was nearby so he was able to take a lot of pictures. I think her Mama wanted to go chat with the other Mama deer so she told Fala to stay there and wait. Fala does not look all that vishus to me.

Wordy Wednesday

It was going to be wordless but my Daddy needed help writing captions for pictures I might post here someday. So here I am making sure he has paper and something to write with and something to erase with (the most important part, hehehe). My Daddy went and got out the flashy clicky box instead of writing anything. I have to tell you that I started to get just a little bit annoyed. I love my Daddy so I decided to take a nap instead of giving him a thwap. I think I would have been more comfortable on the bed though.
Happy Birthday to Edsel, Sammy, Candy and Tesla

Happy Gotcha Day to Luna!

Wordy Wednesday

Here is a picture of my woofies in our new home: It was very cold out that day and they shivered very hard when they went outside so Mom dug out their winter clothes. Sushi did not like wearing her sweater even though the argyle design is very fashionable. Zeke complained about his denim jacket but he was happy to have it on when he went out again. I probably do not have to tell you what will happen to Mom if she tries to put anything like that on me. Just believe that There Will Be Blood if she ever does!

Anyway Zeke turned 13 on March 10. Since it is now April 1 and there is no earlier post about it on this blog it is obvious that Mom ignored his birthday. What Mom? Oh she says she and my Daddy were both sick and they did not feel up to having a party. At least he did get a special treat that day. OK he got a small steak all his own for dinner. It is a good thing I do not eat steak or I would have been just a little bit unhappy that I did not get any.

We do not know Sushi's birthday for sure but it is somewhere at the end of March or in early April . So now Sushi is 7 years old and again we did not have a party. I think she will get a special treat tonight but it will not be steak. There was no meat in the people meal tonight so I am not sure Mom and my Daddy will make it to tomorrow. (They seem to think they will be OK but I will have to wait and see.) That means there was no meat for Sushi though so I do not know what her treat will be. Maybe it will be the sausage I thought Mom was saving for breakfast.

My birthday is in May. I have to share the day with Ruckus because we were born on the same day one year apart. We think have the same cat mom but that we have different cat dads. I hope we can have a party this year!

Wordy Wednesday

Do you see that great graphic at the top of my side bar? Zoolatry made that special for me from my first post on this new blog! It is just wonderful! I love it!

The lovely kitties at Katie's Furry Mews gave me my first award for my new blog. They say it is because it takes Chutzpah to live in Roswell! I say thank you very much! I still have all the graphics for the awards that were given to me for my first blog but I do not remember who gave me which one. So ~ I will put the awards in my side bar as soon as Mom will help me with them.

I also have a couple of memes to do. Mom wrote down the information so she could think about them even when I was napping so now all we have to do is find where she put that information during our move. I am glad she did that though because if she had not we would have lost them with my old blog.

Who knew a new blog would be so much work? Of course that is what Mom is for ~ all I have to do is dictate.
