Prrrrrrs for My Grandpa

This is my Grandpa who lives in the Finger Lakes region of New Yuck. He is in the hospital right now because he has blood clots in both of his lungs. It is a little bit funny that he is in the VET hospital but I do not think it is the same place I would have to go if I were sick. What Mom? Oh ~ Mom says it is the Veterans Hospital, not the VET, and it is a hospital for people who were in the military. He has been getting shots in his tummy twice a day to make the clots go away and his people VET says he should be OK soon.

Mom has talked with Grandpa and Grandma several times since Grandpa was admitted to the people hospital and Grandpa says they have been taking very good care of him. Mom is planning to desert us again go on vacation to visit them in the middle of July and Grandpa says he will be all better then so they can all do stuff together.

We would appreciate any prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs and tail wags you can send out for Grandpa and Grandma.

Get well soon Grandpa! We all love you very much!

Happy Father's Day

The posthypnotic suggeston to continue tummy scritches even in his sleep seems to be working. I cannot wait to try the suggestion about filet mignon for lunch.

I Took the Challenge!

Update: International Boxing Day was on Friday, June 19, which is the day I actually posted this. I do not know why it is dated June 18 but Mom thinks she might know and will try to keep it from happening again. ~ Tiger Lily

It is International Box Day and I have taken the challenge issued by Maggie and Romeo to post some of our Cats in Boxes pictures. This is my big sister Jemima Dust Bunny. I think she might have needed a bigger box. Jemima had to leave us late last year and we miss her! This is one of my baby pictures. Do you see my red laser eyes? Even then I was annoyed by the clicky flashy box! These are some pictures of me from when my Daddy was packing so we could move to Roswell. I had to be sure that I was not left behind! This is how Ruckus made sure she was not left behind either. These are pictures of Ruckus in our new home. Mom says it will be about a squillion years before all of the boxes are unpacked. At least there is always food! You can find lots of other kitties with box pictures at the Cat Blogosphere. Have a great weekend!

Toes Tuesday

A Photo Essay
I am being stalked by giant meatball toes.
He thinks he has conned me into beliving it is just for a cheek scritchy.
I will let him think I believe him.
I am moving into position now.
The claw helps out.
One good toehold deserves another!

Wordy Wednesday

It was going to be wordless but my Daddy needed help writing captions for pictures I might post here someday. So here I am making sure he has paper and something to write with and something to erase with (the most important part, hehehe). My Daddy went and got out the flashy clicky box instead of writing anything. I have to tell you that I started to get just a little bit annoyed. I love my Daddy so I decided to take a nap instead of giving him a thwap. I think I would have been more comfortable on the bed though.
Happy Birthday to Edsel, Sammy, Candy and Tesla
and
Happy Gotcha Day to Luna!

Toes Tuesday

Here is something special that Raisin a'Ruckus does with her toes. She usually sits very patiently for a long time when this happens and we think it is very funny. Mom complains about the holes she keeps finding in the drapes but my Daddy says to just think of them as pinholes that let in more light. Mom has not caught me doing this yet ~ hehehe!
