I am Back (sort of)!

Mom asked me to say Thank You to everyone who sent her encouraging comments as she does not not feel very good. We all appreciated reading them and they made her feel better even though she is still coughing.

I also need to thank a couple of you for giving me these great awards:

This one is from Maggie and Zoey and Ann at Zoolatry. It was very sweet of them to think of me!

This one is from Herman and Karen Jo. They think I am a Superior Scribbler even though Mom helps me with my spelling and grammar!

The Super Scribbler award was started by The Scholastic Scribe to celebrate their two hundredth post two years ago. To read more about the award go here. Here are the rules for this award:

1. Each Superior Scribbler (SS) must pass the Award on to 5 deserving blogger friends.

2. Each SS must link the author and name of the blog from whom he/she received the award.

3. Each SS must display the award on his/her blog and link to the post which explains the award.

4. Each SS is asked to visit the post which explains the award and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List (I just made a comment - I couldn't figure out how to add to the Mr. Linky list.)

5. Each SS must post these rules on his/her blog.

Now it is very difficult to whittle down the choices to just 5 other bloggers but here they are: Army of Four, Asta, Chase, Clover and Chewy and William of Mass Destruction.

I hope it is not so long between posts next time! And I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Apologies

It has been a long time since my last post and I thought it was about time to let you know what has been going on. I am sure it will not surprise any of you to learn that it is all Mom's fault. She says she has been sick even though I told her she was not allowed to be sick. She feels well enough to go to her day hunting place (at least most of the time ~ she did come home early once) but when she gets home mostly all she does is sit on the couch like a lump or go to bed. I am glad she has learned how to be still like a kitteh but that means that she does not help me blog!

We have tried to keep up with at least reading your blogs but we have not done any commenting in about a squillion days. So I am making Mom apologize for not leaving comments. It is all her fault. I keep telling her what comments to make but she keeps ignoring me. She says she does not have enough energy to do what she knows she should.

It is true that she coughs and sneezes and whines and moans and groans a lot. (I do not! At least not that much whining I hope. ~ Mom) I guess I should try to be patient with her. After all I am a kitteh and that means I can sit here and stare at her for as long as I need to. Wait ~ maybe I should make her go to her people VET. Yes! After all she makes me go even when I do not need to so she should go when she looks like she really needs it. Maybe someone will stick her with a sharp thingy and steal her blood! Maybe she will have to take some icky tasting meds! Bwahahahahahahahaha! Ohhhh poor Mom.

So anyway we are not ignoring you. I hope Mom feels better enough soon so I can start commenting again. I hope you are all doing better than she is!!!

Whew!

I had Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys White Meat Chicken and Cheddar Cheese Souffle with Garden Greens for dinner tonight. Thank you for all your support after my previous post. Your comments were 100% in agreement with me. That means 0% thought Mom and my Daddy had a leg to stand on!

Now I have to wonder if 4 cans are enough. Mom says Friday is payday (whatever that means) and that I will be getting many more cans before the weekend is over. But ~ that is a squillion sleeps away and I am still just a little bit concerned. I will believe her for now.

At least I can sleep with my tummy full tonight!

Tuesday Tale of Woe

I think it is possible that I might waste away to shadow tonight. I think maybe Mom and my Daddy are deliberately unintentionally trying to starve me. What else can I think when I learn there is no stinky goodness in the house?! Both of them have been out and either one of them could have brought home more stinky goodness but they claim they forgot it. I think they really just forgot me. They say that one of them will pick some up tomorrow but I think that might be just a little bit too late for me.

Mom says there are plenty of kibbles in my bowl and in the storage bin. How am I supposed to be comfortable sleeping tonight with just kibbles and no stinky goodness? Hmmmmmmm ~ maybe I will not sleep. After all I must do something to remind them that I am not a happy kitteh!

Maybe Mom should keep her fingers away from me tonight!
