It's Cold Out Here!

The temperature is supposed to get as low as 6 degrees here tonight and 1 degree tomorrow night and I am so very glad that I am an inside kittie. We have decided to ignore what it will do to our need for green papers and keep the furnace turned up so our house stays comfortable.

There are a lot of kitties living outside near our home and I have been concerned about them. My Daddy says they have a good place to go to keep warm so they should be OK. If it stays cold for more than a couple of days Mom says she will put out some food for them.

We hope you do not have to deal with all the snow the weather people keep saying is on its way. We hope the power does not go out. We also hope you are all able to stay warm!

Oh, eeeek, a power outage would be very bad! Tonight my mom is even going to let the kitchen tap drip because we have an older house and those water lines are on an exterior wall. I don't really care about why, I'm just excited about the faucet being on so we can drink from it!

Stay warm!

Oh, hi folks! Just found your blog for the first time (you know the CB is like a treasure hunt). We likes your Alien picture from Zoolatry, cool! We'z from Canada but my Human really likes to visit New Mexico and says it's her favorite place. I hopes you stay all warm inside with that big storm that is coming to alot of places. Come by and say hi sometimes.

It is very cold here in North Texas, too. Mom is feeding two kitties outside and provided them a place to sleep. They come out to eat but she does not know where they are sleeping. She worries about them, too!

We had such low temps here a week ago. And we have homeless kitties, too (abandoned and feral). So prayers are going out for the welfare of your outdoor ones.

For other folks (all kitties and doggies are people to me) reading this, check out my blog. It has stories and information helpful for cat caretakers everywhere. Get your ‘beans to check it out!

Hey, wonderful pets, stay well!
