Sunday Jigsaw

Click to Mix and Solve

I thought this Superb Starling from Jigzone.com would be fun for all of us who love (in one way or another) our feathered friends. The author of this puzzle is Christine Feehan and I have never read any of her books but I think Mom might have. I will have to ask her about that sometime (snicker).

My Daddy is doing very well after his surgery. I was just a little bit scared of the big black thing he had his arm in when he got home but it turns out it is just a sling that he has to wear almost all the time. He even has it on when he sleeps but I am able to snuggle on his elbow and he told me I do not hurt him.

Mom was all ready to take really good care of him but my Daddy likes to push himself a little. He is being really good though 'cuz he wants this surgery to succeed. He is ambidextrous (I learned a new word! It means he can use either his right hand or his left hand with 'equal ease'. I had to ask Mom how to spell it though.) so he just uses his right hand to do almost everything. We also watch a lot of movies. Mom does get to help him with the bandage and putting on his shirt and she does the cooking so she does not feel completely useless.

He has to go back to his VET to get the staples out of his shoulder on Tuesday. Mom will drive him there but if he is feeling good and does not have to take his pain meds after the VET visit he might drive home. I think Mom will probably drive home too.

Mom said we will be able to visit our friends but we will probably not have time to leave comments for a few days. I will try to post again later this week. I have about a squillion pictures from the clicky flashy boxes but I do not seem to be able to convince Mom she has time to fix them up for my blog. I think I might have to get a little tough with her. What do you think?

Oh man, I want to do that puzzle but it's not loading for some reason! I'll have to try again later.

We're glad to hear your daddy's doing well. If he were a cat, though, using both paws wouldn't be so special. :-)

I hope he will let your mom drive home even if he thinks he can.

Glad your dad is doing okay after the surgery. Hope he continues to do better.

and your mom isn't useless cause your dad wants to be independent. She helps you blog. that's helpful!

Glad your dad is doing so well!

We're trying to get Mama to blog more too, but she's resisting. She says she wants too, but just doesn't know what to say....we tell her what to say, so what's the problem?
